SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONALS 2009 : overseas playersCIRCULAR 41/2008 SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONALS 2009 At a recent meeting of the Executive it was decided to allow for overseas players to participate in our South African Nationals in 2009 under certain conditions. This decision was prompted following requests from some countries who wish to practice for the Atlantic Championships under our conditions. It is further confirmed that these entries are permitted under the following circumstances. • Entries can be accepted for all the disciplines with the exception of the South African Singles. The winner of this discipline represents the country at the World Champion of Champions and we would only permit a South African to take up this responsibility. • Entries would be expected to affiliate to a local club and therefore represent that club at the tournament.
